The Judicial Candidate Endorsement Committee operates when notified of an anticipated judicial vacancy in state or federal courts in the metro Richmond area. The Committee reviews qualifications and interviews candidates according to Association By-laws. Committee members are elected by the membership and serve one-year terms.
