Please join us for our Reception and Annual Woman of Achievement Awards presentation on Thursday, May 22nd from 5:15 until 7 p.m. at Willow Oaks Country Club as we honor our 2025 Woman of Achievement Award Winners, enjoy some networking time and hold MRWBA's Annual Business Meeting. 

Our honorees this year are:

Valerie L’Herrou, Deputy Director of the Virginia Poverty Law Center’s Center for Family Advocacy, has spent decades fighting for low-income families and children across Virginia. From legislative reform to mentoring fellow attorneys, Valerie’s work in child welfare and family law has transformed systems and changed lives.

Joanna Suyes, founder of Suyes Law, is a  nationally respected disability attorney and a tireless advocate for legal aid and pro bono. With over 15 years of service to vulnerable clients and the legal community, Joanna’s leadership and commitment to access to justice have left a   lasting impact on the Commonwealth.

A selection of light hors d' oeuvres will be available and all registrants will be provided with a drink ticket. Additional beverages may be purchased at the cash bar.
