Legislative Update: New Date, New Format
MRWBA looks forward to returning to Willow Oaks Country Club for our Annual Legislative Update on Wednesday, April 20th. Unlike prior years, the program will be more focused on questions and issues that are of importance to our members instead of each Legislator talking about what they thought was important during the General Assembly session.
Enrollment is limited, and could shift as COVID cases continue to fluctuate - so register early to be assured that you have a seat at the table.
Virtual State High School Mock Trial Competition Needs Judges
The Virginia Law-Related Education Institute is hosting this year’s Virginia and Washington, DC, state high school mock trial competition virtually due to the risks associated with the coronavirus pandemic, and is in need of judges for the March state competition.
Judges will need to review brief orientation materials prior to the round to understand how to log in to the judging system and how to evaluate students. Judges will be asked to give brief constructive feedback at the end of trial.
MRWBA’s events are possible thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. These sponsorships provide an opportunity to promote your brand to a demographic of well-educated, professional women with an average salary of $101,126 per year. Register for a sponsorship now, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
